Pancake House has always been a favorite dining destination for our family. Now they have come up with scrumptious new set of chicken meals which they call “Southern Flavors”. It’s inspired by the country style flavors from the South of America.
Last week, we visited Pancake House and got a taste of their new dish. Among the three new dishes, I went for the Southern Chicken Strips and Crispy Waffle. A hefty serving of lightly breaded and crispy corn flakes-crusted chicken strips served with Parmesan gravy, crispy waffle and a light salad of mixed greens, grapes, olives, and cucumber slivers. I had the chicken lightly cooked — I just don’t like my chicken too crispy or I’ll miss its juiciness.

This is quite a full meal for me, complete with appetizer – the salad, the main dish – the chicken, and of course the dessert would be my favorite waffle. However, for those people who really want it light, you can choose the same meal without the waffle.
Southern Chicken Strips with Orange and OliveSalad
The other choice would be the Maple Chicken and Crispy Waffle. Reminiscent of the southern style chicken and biscuit, mouthwatering dish consists of sweet maple-glazed chicken, ceasar salad with crunchy potato croutons plus a crispy waffle.

These meals come in big serving — enough to be shared. So, if you happen to drop by Pancake House, you might want to try out this delectable new dishes.

I love Pancake House’ foods though I have only eaten there once. If not only because it was a sister company of one of the companies I worked for before, I probably would not be able to convince myself to try eating there yet, I regret why it took me years before the first try. Now I wanna go back and eat there. I wanna try their ribs (I don’t know if it’s baby back or something).

hmmnn.. chicken and waffles..yummy combination yan huh? I love Pancake House’s Steak with garlic rice.
Hmmm i still haven’t visited that place to taste their specialty. there’s none of that here eh. Maybe inthe future, if i will have a chance to be near one, for sure i would love all of the above you showed here. They are healthy choices.
